Honk News (New York City, NY) – A recently released parolee, who spent eight years in prison for sexually assaulting a young boy and throwing him off a rooftop, is now facing accusations of raping a 15-year-old girl in a stairwell in the Bronx, according to police and sources.
Casmine Aska, 29, is accused of attacking a teenager in an elevator at 140 Bellamy Loop in Co-Op City on Thursday, leading her into a stairwell and assaulting her, according to police reports. Police reported that he was arrested on Friday night and charged with first-degree rape.
Aska was released on parole on January 30 after serving time for attempted murder. Just two days later, on February 1, 2013, he pushed a 9-year-old boy, whom he had previously assaulted, off the roof of a five-story apartment building in the Bronx, according to police sources.
In 2017, he was incarcerated and spent eight years in state prison, according to state prison records.
Aska pushed the child from the rooftop at 1545 Nelson Ave. in Morris Heights after the victim threatened to disclose the sexual abuse, according to sources.

The boy fell and ended up in a coma. He momentarily came to and informed the police that his neighbor, Aska — who was 17 at the time — arrived at his third-floor apartment and pulled him up to the roof.
A boy was put on life support at the hospital and ultimately made it through.
At the age of 72, his grandmother mentioned that she was at home when it happened, believing the boy had simply gone to the corner store to pick up a soda for his mother.
The family was unaware of the situation until a worried neighbor shouted that the boy “is downstairs!”
When his mother hurried outside, the child was already being placed into an ambulance.
Aska faced a second-degree attempted murder conviction and was additionally charged with a criminal sex act, sex abuse, sexual misconduct, and acting in a way that could harm a child under 17 for a crime committed in 2013, according to sources.
According to sources, he has faced multiple arrests in the past for charges including resisting arrest, menacing, and assault.
