Texas Man Arrested for Child Sex Abuse Lived in Home With Over 100 Dead and Living Animals

Honk News (Colony, TX) – A 35-year-old man was arrested on Friday for continuous sexual assault of a child. He resided in a home where over 100 living and deceased pets were recently discovered, as reported by The Colony Police Department.

Blake Everett Odle was arrested after last month’s animal abuse raid at a residence on Alta Oaks Lane, where two other individuals were also taken into custody, according to police reports.

Odle has been arrested with a bond set at $350,000 following an investigation that was initiated based on reports from several victims, according to the department.

Police in The Colony have filed felony charges against a couple residing in a home filled with animals. Brandy Lynn Bristol and Jeremy James Bristol have been taken into custody on 12 charges of cruelty to non-livestock animals, classified as a third-degree felony.

The Colony police’s SWAT team conducted a raid on a home on Alta Oaks Lane, discovering 88 animals, including dogs, cats, turtles, snakes, and pet mice, as well as the remains of 22 deceased animals.

Animal control officers were called in by authorities and spent several hours rescuing pets that were reportedly kept in cramped cages and poor conditions.

The Colony police stated that the department is dedicated to enforcing animal welfare laws and ensuring justice in cases of animal cruelty.

A website for an animal rescue organization run by the arrested couple seems to have been taken offline following the raid. The couple is still in custody, and the animals that were taken have been transferred to other rescue organizations.

In the meantime, if you have any more details about the alleged offenses connected to Odle, please reach out to Detective Cody Chittenden at (972) 624-3937.
