Arkansas Man Arrested after He Slept with Two Boys whom He Met at Church; Slapped with Charges

Honk News (Bentonville, AR) – Recent court filings disclose additional information regarding the apprehension of a 27-year-old man from Bentonville, facing charges related to rape and sexual assault against minors.

Andrew Apple, who subsequently served as a youth staff member at a church in Northwest Arkansas, faces allegations of sexually abusing at least two minors over a span of several years, as detailed in court documents.

Bentonville Police Department reports that officers took Apple into custody on February 21 after a recent criminal investigation.

Authorities launched an inquiry following a report from the child abuse hotline, received from Arkansas State Police on February 4, 2025, concerning alleged misconduct involving Apple.

As the inquiry progressed, two individuals stepped forward with testimonies of ongoing mistreatment.

A victim, whose name has been withheld, disclosed that the abuse began at the age of 13 during their time volunteering with Apple at the church.
