Honk News (Redondo Beach, CA) – A family from Redondo Beach is reaching out to the community for assistance in locating the owners of a dog involved in an unprovoked biting incident that was recorded on surveillance footage.
Michelle Lara recounted to KTLA that during her routine walk along Artesia Boulevard on February 18, a dog belonging to a stranger unexpectedly dashed out from an open door and bit her on the left arm.
Lara reported that the bite resulted in bruising and limited movement in that arm.
She expresses a desire to learn more about the dog but mentions that she cannot reach the dog’s owner.
“I would like to know if these shots are up to date because my arm really hurts a lot, and I’m scared,” said Lara.
Lara stated that she first communicated with the dog’s owner, but she alleged that she was deliberately provided with an incorrect number when she attempted to reach out again.

Authorities announced that there were no ongoing searches for individuals connected to this case as of Sunday evening.
Lara’s family has not only contacted the police but has also reached out to animal control and is now waiting for a reply.
