Honk News (WAUKESHA, Wis.) – A 35-year-old man from Waukesha, who previously taught at Wisconsin Lutheran High School, is facing allegations of sexual offenses involving a teenager. Justin Liepert is the individual facing several criminal charges.
As stated in the criminal complaint, a Waukesha police detective reached out to a 16-year-old victim on November 24, 2024. An individual reported that he had interacted with an adult male through an app named “Sniffies” from February to March 2024.
The teenager had also been in touch with the same individual on Snapchat and Telegram. The complaint states that the victim described the adult male as “a married, Lutheran school teacher.” The teenager stated that he met with the defendant “around three or four times,” according to the complaint.
The detective found out from the defendant’s Snapchat account that he works as a teacher at a Lutheran school. The complaint states, “records indicated the user mentioned that he teaches grades 9-12 at a private school.” The complaint states that it also reveals “the defendant’s receipt of several sexually explicit videos” from the teenage victim.

On February 13, 2025, the detective conducted an interview with the defendant. The defendant stated that he has accounts on Snapchat and Sniffies. The defendant stated that he no longer had his Sniffies account as he had deleted it a few weeks earlier, according to the complaint.
Police examined the defendant’s phone for evidence. The defendant’s map application showed that they visited the victim’s residence on one day in March 2024 and two days in May 2024.
Liepert appeared for the first time in Waukesha County court on Monday, Feb. 17. The cash bond has been established at $5,000.
Liepert will return to court for a preliminary hearing on March 19.
