Honk News (Georgetown, SC) – A 38-year-old man received a sentence on Wednesday for sexually assaulting a minor and drug possession, as reported by the Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
Anthony Lemar Bostic from Georgetown has admitted guilt to charges of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a minor and second-offense possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and was subsequently sentenced by Circuit Court Judge David P. Caraker, Jr.
In 2021, deputies from the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at Tidelands Health regarding a 10-year-old girl who a family member brought in.
The girl reported that a family friend, Bostic, made her undress and assaulted her after picking her up from school the previous day.

Bostic will be required to register as a sex offender and wear an ankle monitor for life upon his release, according to the solicitor’s office.
