Honk News (Mineola, TX) – Former East Texas pastor accused of luring and assaulting children at church, according to arrest records.
Timothy Nall’s affidavit reveals that the sexual assault occurred at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Mineola during the Fall of 2022. A counselor alerted deputies about potential sexual abuse involving a 4-year-old girl, as detailed in a deputy’s offense report.
Concerned parents sought counseling for their daughter after observing troubling behavior at home.
In a session, the girl allegedly mentioned a “bad guy who touches her belly” and talked about receiving candy from him. The girl informed the counselor that someone had touched her on her stomach and legs. During the therapy session, the individual was recognized as Timothy Nall, the full-time pastor at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, which the family began attending in February 2022.
The affidavit noted that on a specific Sunday, following services, the mother and her husband searched for their daughter, who was somewhere inside the church. The mother reported that she found her in the church office of Nall, sitting on his lap while eating by herself. The mother stated they were alone in the office. At that moment, she didn’t give it much thought.

A girl reportedly informed her mother that Nall had inappropriately touched her in various places, including her private areas. The child expressed fear about Nall returning, as she had disclosed the “secret” that Nall had threatened to lock her in the office with the lights off, preventing her from seeing her parents again.
A forensic interview took place at the Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center on Jan. 27, during which the child reiterated the same allegations against Nall.
Nall was taken into custody at the Smith County Jail on Saturday and was released the next day.
New details emerge in a separate case involving a child, mentioning a bowl of candy found in Nall’s office at the church.
