Honk News (Lansing, MI) – Adrian High School’s band director, Aaron Mykeloff, faces charges of criminal sexual conduct following allegations of a sexual relationship with a minor.
Mykeloff, aged 50, faced arraignment in court on Tuesday and is presently held at Lenawee County Jail. The court has established his bond at $400,000.
“This investigation did not lead officers to believe it was connected in any way to his employment,” said Raisin Township Police in a news release acquired by 6 News. “Adrian Public Schools were notified as a precaution and have since followed their procedures to further ensure the safety of their students, staff and community.”
Adrian Public Schools provided the following statement in a press release shared with WTOL:
“Adrian Public Schools remains committed to its responsibilities to safeguard, nurture, and develop our students. The District has policies and procedures to investigate and handle any allegations of misconduct on or off-site. We appreciate our families’ trust and confidence in Adrian Public Schools, and we will continue to work to maintain that trust.
