Honk News (New York City, NY ) – A disturbing case has emerged involving a Queens teacher referred to as “Mr. Blunt,” who allegedly sexually abused a junior high school student over a span of two years, reportedly using marijuana and explicit materials to manipulate her, according to claims made in a lawsuit.
A lawsuit filed in Queens Supreme Court against the city and the Department of Education alleges that an unidentified educator and guidance counselor harassed the plaintiff from 2000 to 2002 during her time at Junior High School 189 in Flushing, threatening to disclose her marijuana use if she spoke out about the situation.
When the individual involved attempted to evade him by stating she was menstruating, he reportedly insisted that she provide evidence in the form of soiled sanitary products, according to her claims.
“At a time when [she] should have been enjoying sports, interacting with her peers, and focusing on her studies,” the educator was instead forcing the student to “watch pornographic videos and endure intense sexual harassment, and sexual assaults,” the accuser claimed in court papers.

The lawsuit stated that the student is unable to recall the teacher’s actual name because of the trauma experienced.
She recalled her abuser solely as Mr. Blunt — a name derived from his habit of providing her with weed or “blunts.”
A former student has initiated a lawsuit seeking unspecified damages under a law designed to protect victims of gender-motivated violence, which has created a two-year opportunity for individuals to pursue legal action for historical instances of sexual abuse.
The city’s legal team announced that it would examine the case upon receiving it.
