Honk News (Florence, AL) – According to the Florence Police Department, a man who is twenty years old has been charged with crimes relating to the distribution of harmful materials to children.
Jamorious Vaughn was charged with two counts of possession and production of “obscene matter containing a visual depiction of a person under the age of 17 involved in obscene acts” on Thursday, January 9. The charges were brought against him on the same day.
According to the Florence Police Department, Vaughn, who is currently being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center for crimes that are unrelated to the incident, instructed a girl who was 16 years old to “perform obscene acts” while she was video-chatting with him.
According to the Florence Police Department detectives, the proof was discovered while checking the jail call logs. He is currently being held at the detention center on a bond of 245,000 dollars.
