Florida Mother Ripped Diabetic Daughter’s Insulin Pump and Drowned Her to Death in Bathtub; Documents Reveal

A mother in Florida has been taken into custody following the discovery of her 14-year-old daughter’s lifeless body in a bathtub, and she now faces murder charges.

Kelsey Glover, 35, remains in custody at the Osceola County Jail without bail following charges of premeditated murder in connection with her daughter Giselle. According to reports, Glover faced charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery following an alleged attack on her roommate.

Fresh insights from Glover’s arrest warrant shed light on the events surrounding her daughter’s tragic passing.

The warrant detailing the murder charge referenced sworn testimony from Glover’s roommate, who disclosed that Giselle had been managing Type 1 diabetes and was using an insulin pump for her medication.

The roommate reported that Glover removed her daughter from the pump on November 18, leading to Giselle becoming ill, experiencing vomiting, and ultimately becoming bedridden. The statement revealed that in the subsequent days, Glover confined her daughter “in the master bedroom with music playing to drown out her screams for help.”

On November 20, the roommate reported that at approximately 8 a.m., Glover requested her assistance in bathing Giselle. Following the incident where the roommate brought Giselle into the bathroom and set her in the tub, Glover allegedly began to push her head under the water, leading to a confrontation between Glover and her roommate.

While the roommate was attempting to rescue Giselle, Glover reportedly went off in search of the hammer that she supposedly used to threaten her life. She locked herself in the bathroom with Giselle as she dialed for help.

Earlier reports indicated that upon arrival, law enforcement noted “several holes in the door that were consistent with the hammer striking the door.”
