On October 9, court documents reveal that he opted to waive his right to a jury trial and entered a guilty plea to a modified charge of solicitation, classified as a misdemeanor. A charge has been dropped.
He received a 24-month court supervision sentence and was credited for time already served. A planned bench trial has been canceled.
According to court documents, law enforcement officials report that he was among five men who, in April, went to the motel with the intention of committing aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Human Trafficking Operation by ISP
The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Trafficking Enforcement Bureau conducted a two-day operation in the Moline area, resulting in several arrests related to human trafficking, as stated in a news release.
The operation aimed to identify individuals looking to participate in commercial sex activities, according to the statement.
This effort was a key component of a comprehensive strategy by ISP to combat human trafficking in Illinois. The operation involved collaboration with ISP, Quad Cities MEG, Moline Police, Joliet Metro Area Narcotics, Blackhawk Area Task Force, and North Central Narcotics Task Force. The operation received support from the Rock Island County State’s Attorney’s Office, as stated in the release.
Four individuals – Adam Curry from Sherrard, Timothy Danielson from Geneseo, Andy Hershberger from Roseville, and Santeeno Nickerson from Moline – are set to appear in Rock Island County Court. We will keep you updated on these cases in the Quad Cities.
