Authorities announced on Monday that eight individuals believed to be involved in a series of assaults, robberies, carjackings, and various other criminal activities in San Jose over the past year have been apprehended this month.
From November 2023 to September 2024, authorities reported responding to various incidents associated with the suspects, who purportedly focused on rival gang members as well as local residents in the Loma Verde and Cadillac/Winchester areas.
Authorities apprehended eight individuals in San Jose from October 15 to 17. The arrested include 22-year-old Josue Castro, 26-year-old Jonathan Rodriguez, 21-year-old Daniel Romo, 20-year-old Luis Arizmendi-Bravo, 21-year-old Joe Maldonado, 19-year-old Erick Curiel, along with two male juveniles aged 16 and 17.
During the execution of search warrants, investigators confiscated items related to the suspected offenses, including a fully automatic submachine gun and ammunition. The six adult suspects have been taken into custody at the Santa Clara County Main Jail, while the two juvenile suspects are now at Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall.
