An odd and quite unpleasant occurrence occurred on the Schuylkill River early on Wednesday morning, prompting the Philadelphia Police Department to attend to the scene.
At approximately 4:45 in the morning, a vehicle that had been parked on Kelly Drive had made its way into the river close to the Columbia Bridge.
According to the police, a man and a woman were having sexual relations in the backseat of the vehicle when the woman inadvertently disengaged the gear, which resulted in the vehicle rolling directly into the lake.
Both the man and the woman were fortunate enough to be able to flee the scene without suffering any injuries.
About nine in the morning, the car, which is thought to be either a Land Rover or a Range Rover, was retrieved from the water.
This incident occurred only a few weeks after another vehicle drove off Kelly Drive and into Schuylkill River, but no one was discovered inside the vehicle.
