Los Angeles, CA: The authorities in California are looking for new victims of a robbery gang that has been operating in the Lincoln Heights district of Los Angeles.
The squad lured two victims into an apartment located in the 2900 block of North Main Street. The victims say that they had met the woman on Social Media. A press release issued by the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the above statement.
After entering the building, two male suspects emerged from hiding and demanded belongings from the victims while holding a gun to their heads. According to the authorities, one of the victims was subjected to a pistol-whipped attack by a suspect.
“During the investigation, it was discovered that the suspects had previously employed this same scheme to rob other victims of robbery,” the Los Angeles Police Department said.
On Wednesday, two of the suspects, identified as Sergio Carrillo, who is 26 years old, and Magdalena Gallegos, who is 23 years old, were taken into custody. Both of them are residents of Los Angeles, and they are currently being held on bond of $100,000.
According to the authorities, they are looking for the third suspect as per KTLA.

The authorities made the images of the arrested individuals public so that more victims of the robbery squad could report the crime.
