Situated in western Riverside County, Lake Elsinore has reached a noteworthy elevation of 1248.13 feet, a peak unseen since 2011, as reported by the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District.

Spanning approximately 3,000 acres, Lake Elsinore serves as the terminus of the San Jacinto River Watershed. It primarily receives its water supply from the snowmelt of surrounding mountains, enhancing its role as a critical water reservoir.
