On Friday, LMPD detectives from the Criminal Interdiction Division’s Violent Crime Unit 2 carried out a search warrant in the 1000 block of Stone Spring Way, which is located at Hurstbourne Parkway.
According to an LMPD social media post, investigators found over 50 pounds of marijuana, 10 pounds of hallucinogenic mushrooms, numerous pounds of THC edibles and wax, and a “large amount of cash” inside the property.
There were also discovered ledgers with details on a “large-scale” trafficking ring. Athena Smith, 20, and Clayton Jones, 21, were taken into custody. With a $5,000 bond, both entered not guilty pleas.
