25 Unaccompanied Minors Among 101 Immigrants Arrested Near U.S.-Mexico Border

Immigration officials in Texas apprehend 101 individuals, including 25 minors without parents.

Near the U.S.-Mexico border, Texas state troopers detained dozens of undocumented immigrants on Wednesday, 25 of them were children without parents.

A gang of 101 illegal aliens were apprehended near Eagle Pass, a border town, according to Lt. Chris Olivarez of the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The allegations of criminal trespass led to the arrest of 29 undocumented immigrants, according to Olivarez. Rescuers from the state rescued approximately 20 youngsters, ranging in age from 3 to 15, who had been left alone.

A total of 29 undocumented immigrants were apprehended; their countries of origin included Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Venezuela, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Ecuador. The speaker was Olivarez.

All of them were sent to the processing facility at Val Verde Center. The United States Border Patrol was notified about the groups of families and children that were not accompanied.
