Two people’s bodies were found among the broken glass and other debris after neighbours say a house in New Jersey blew up early Sunday morning.
The bodies of two people were taken away from the scene of the explosion on Sunday morning. The explosion happened at the corner of Orion Way and Tranquilly Court in Washington Township, Gloucester County.
Police said that the bodies were those of a guy and a woman. The two people have not been named.
The event took place around 2 a.m., according to officials. There is surveillance video that shows the house catching fire. Police said the event was being looked into as a “intense fire” instead of a blast.
A neighbour, on the other hand, said she was watching a movie with her boyfriend in her house when she heard a blast and saw flames coming from the other house.
This is what Susan Pinto said: “I was scared to death.” “Because I had never heard an explosion like that before, and the house was pretty much on fire very quickly.”
According to Pinto, she called 911 right away, and firemen were there in minutes.
According to neighbours, the house was on fire 10 minutes after the first blast.
Officials say that the event damaged two homes nearby.
The police haven’t said anything else about the person who died, but a neighbour said he saw the man who lived in the house when he walked his dog.
“He was nice.” He was good. He always did things like walk his dog. It was fun to talk to him. “He’ll say hello and talk to you now and then,” the neighbour said.
Officials say they are still looking into what might have caused the blast.
