Two men have been apprehended by Pennsylvania authorities in relation to the reported abduction of four females, with two of them reportedly subjected to sexual assault.
According to reports, Pennsylvania State Police have stated that on Monday, June 24, a group of individuals were reportedly coerced into a vehicle by Davaun Carlon Jackson and Isaiah Rogers-Keeney. The victims’ identities and ages have not been disclosed. They were then taken to a different location.
Online court records reveal that Jackson, 29, and Rogers-Keeney, 19, are facing multiple charges, including kidnapping a minor, rape, involuntary servitude, and strangulation.
Authorities have not disclosed the ages of the alleged victims, but according to online court records, some of the charges against the suspects involve crimes against a minor.
An investigation was initiated on Tuesday, June 25, following a tip received by authorities regarding a vehicle. This led to a pursuit of the said vehicle by the Pocono Mountain Regional Police and the state police.
According to reports, state troopers discovered Rogers-Keeney and a female companion inside a vehicle parked outside a Walmart in Mount Pocono, Monroe County, Pa.
Authorities have reported that Jackson was apprehended while exiting the store with another individual who is also believed to be a victim.
According to reports obtained by PEOPLE, authorities have discovered that Jackson and Rogers-Keeney are suspected of coercing four females into a vehicle on Monday.
According to investigators, the females were reportedly brought to a property owned by Jackson in Smithfield Township, Monroe County. Allegedly, Jackson confined them inside a shipping container.
According to authorities, Jackson reportedly bound three individuals and made threats of murder while displaying multiple weapons. It is further alleged that he proceeded to sexually assault two of the victims.
Jackson and Rogers-Keeney have been denied bail due to the severity of the offense they are accused of, as indicated by online court records.
It was not mentioned in the court records whether either of them has entered a plea.
