William Hutchinson is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl while she was asleep in Laguna Beach, California. He was on the Lifetime show Marrying Millions as the suitor of a woman 40 years younger than him.

The Orange County District Attorney’s Office said Friday that the 63-year-old Texas real estate developer was charged with 15 counts of sexual battery and one felony count of rape of an unconscious person.

The charges in Orange County came after charges of sexual assault against a 16-year-old girl in Texas. According to reports, that attack took place at Hutchinson’s home in the Dallas area.

Orange County officials say Hutchinson went to his vacation home in Laguna Beach earlier this year with two 16-year-old girls.

Police in Orange County, California, say that Hutchinson raped and sexually battered one of the teens four times in April. Attorneys for the woman said she didn’t want to go on a second trip to Laguna Beach in May, when Hutchinson is accused of sexually assaulting a second girl.

According to the Dallas Morning News, a 17-year-old girl told police in Texas that Hutchinson gave her and other children alcohol and then touched them inappropriately.

Hutchinson told TMZ what he thought about the Texas situation. “Anyone in this city who knows me knows I can’t attack, whether it’s sexual or not.” He hasn’t said anything about the Orange County charges yet.

He turned himself into police in Texas on Wednesday, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. He was then freed on a $30,000 bond. Officials say that Hutchinson has since been given an arrest warrant out of Orange County.

He could spend up to eight years in state prison and two and a half years in county jail if found guilty of the Orange County charges.
