A 14-year-old boy was stabbed on Staten Island Tuesday evening, and police are seeking for a 13-year-old suspect, as teenage violence spreads around the city, according to authorities.

The child was stabbed in the leg, just above the knee, during a fight around 5:45 p.m. near a building on Broad Street near Gordon Street that is part of NYCHA’s Stapleton Houses, according to police and sources.

He was transferred to Staten Island University Hospital North and was classified in stable condition.

A 13-year-old suspect, last seen wearing gray sweatpants, fled the scene and remained on the loose Wednesday.
