Authorities were alerted to an incident involving a vehicle colliding with a tree in the vicinity of N El Dorado Street, close to St. Mary’s High School, at approximately 7:45 a.m.

A group of young individuals, consisting of five girls aged 11 to 15 and a 13-year-old boy, were discovered at the location. An 11-year-old girl tragically passed away after being transported to the hospital, according to authorities.

The teenagers were transported to the hospital and are anticipated to recover without complications.

The police are unsure about the identity of the driver involved in the vehicle collision with a tree, including whether any of the young individuals were behind the wheel.
