Yellowstone Season 3 Updates: After it premiered in 2018, Yellowstone, a modern-day western, fast became the Paramount Network’s entry into prestige TV. Three episodes into Season 1 of Yellowstone, that follows the powerful Dutton household of cattle ranchers and their escalating tensions with developers and acquaintances as they struggle for survival, the show became one of those most-watched shows to air in 2018 on basic cable.

Together with the main cast returning, it appears a foe is going to be on the horizon to the Dutton family. Lost star Josh Holloway is joining the cast as Roarke Carter. “It is Dan Jenkins times a thousand,” Reilly says in a teaser for the new season. Holloway explains the character as a”hedge fund baller.”
Actress Jennifer Landon may also join the cast for a wrangler.

While plot details are thin, Paramount released a behind-the-scenes trailer with members of the cast and crew for Season 3. “Season 3, it’ll be larger than season two,” series creator co-creator Tyler Sheridan said. “It will be colossal.”

“Season 3 is a number of my favorite stuff so far,” Grimes said. “It’s pretty shocking.”
Keith Cox, Paramount Network and TV Land president of production and development, has been blown away by the scripts. “It’s going to be good and even larger than 2; I understand it, feel it. It will happen,” he told Deadline.
Where is Yellowstone filmed, and…can we remain there?
On the show, the ranch is located in Montana and borders Yellowstone National Park. It’s described on the show as”the greatest ranch in the U.S.”
Seasons 1 and 2 were filmed in more than 20 locations around Utah and Montana. Most of the time they are starring at Weber, Summit, Salt Lake City and Wasatch.

What occurred in the Yellowstone season two finale?
In the season 2 finale, “Sins of the Father,” the Dutton family was confronting a literal life and death scenario. We eventually learn that the Becks hired white supremacists to kidnap Tate, who’s presently traumatized after being beaten. Kayce finds his child and they return home.
During a touching moment, Rip finds that John has abandoned him his dad’s old ranch house as a thank you for rescuing his daughter Beth from attackers in a previous episode.
