The second entry in the Universe of Marvel character as Morbius comes next summer as the titular superhero Vampire film, starring Jared Leto. When it was first announced, what we were expecting was a team-up with Tom Hardy’s Venom at some point, but the landscape has changed drastically over the past few months. Now the MCU crossover is theoretically with the terms of Sony and Disney’s reunion.
As fans know, Tom Holland can now appear as Spider-Man in Sony’s films. We More, We Got This Covered is hearing that the reverse is also true and Sony characters may also appear in the MCU.
For one, our sources – the ones that tell us about the Green Lantern show, and that Bill Murray is returning for Ghostbusters 3, have both been confirmed – saying that keeping watch on Marvel’s franchise Morbius Later on down the line and openly, they are considering using it in a blade reboot. Or, if not there, in the Midnight Sons project.
Maharashtra Ali was confirmed to play the role of Blade in a new film over the summer, although a release date has yet to be submitted for production. However, we know that this will be the first time the MCU will facilitate the occult world.
Meanwhile, WGTC previously reported that Midnight Sons might be the film, which would be a group of mature characters like Blade, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, and John Bernthal’s Punish. Again, Leto’s Morbius would fit in well with these R-rated anti-heroes. He was eventually part of their roster in the comics.
By 2020 Morbius could do the groundwork for an MCU crossover, with Holland and J.K. Cameos for both as well. J. Simmons Joanna Jameson believed they were on the cards. Let’s hope it makes the same impact at the box office as Vysom so that both studios can fulfill their big plans for the character.
