The Season 4 of Westworld has officially been confirmed. But when will it be released on HBO? Here is everything that you need to know about it.
Westworld is only partway through its third season on HBO, but the show has already been renewed and the fans are very happy and excited for that. The news was announced on April 22 by the president of HBO programming Casey Bloys. He said: “From the western theme park to the technocratic metropolis of the near future, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed every twist and turn from the minds of master storytellers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.
“We can’t wait to see where their inspired vision takes us next.”
The Release date of Westworld Season 4:
The official release date has not been confirmed yet as the show has only been renewed. However, there have been two years between each of the past three seasons of the show. Therefore, the fourth season could be released at some point in 2022.
Over the past few months, there has been a number of delays due to the coronavirus outbreak. As a result, this may impact the future releases.
The Casts of Westworld Season 4:
As season three is still airing, there has been no confirmation yet about who will star.
However, it is expected Evan Rachel Wood will return as Dolores Abernathy after appearing in all previous seasons.
Other original cast members expected to come back include Thandie Newton as Maeve Millay, Jeffrey Wright as Bernard Lowe, and Ed Harris as the Man in Black.
Season three also introduced Aaron Paul in a leading role, so he could also be back for series four.
As well as this, there are likely to be some new additions to the cast as with previous outings.
The Expected Plot of Westworld Season 4:
Nothing has been revealed yet about the plot of the show. However, this is likely to be hugely determined by how the third series finishes playing out on HBO. For the third season, the show expanded outside of Westworld and into neo Los Angeles in 2058. Therefore the fourth season will continue this setting or take the characters in a whole new world.
