War Machine Is Earth’s MIGHTIEST Avenger

The final battle in the Avengers: Colonel James Rupert “Roadie” Rhodey was never seen before in the MCU. Inspired by Iron Patriot’s armour worn back in Iron Man 3, the updated armour he wore in the Avengers had much higher firepower.

However, Marvel Studios is slowly pointing out how powerful the new Iron Patriot armour is. Marvel recently released the complete script for Avengers: Endgame; In it, Roadie’s exoskeletal suit is known as the “Cosmic Iron Patriot” armour. By now, viewers had assumed that it was just another Stark-powered exoskeleton, but it does not appear to be. Instead, this new Iron Patriot costume has been upgraded with foreign technology, possibly derived from rockets or Captain Marvel.

Presumably, this means that the Cosmic Iron Patriot has weapons that are beyond anything on Earth – possibly even beyond Tony Stark’s imagination.

Oddly, Roadie did not play a major role in the Avengers’ war against Thanos and his armies. This is probably because Marvel heavily edited this final battle, removing a full aerial battle. Sean Gunn, who played Kraaglin Obontieri in Guardians of the Galaxy films, discussed the scene in “The Battle of the Sky” with Screen Rant, stating that it was removed because it was too distracting from the main storyline. Sit on the ground. It is reasonable to assume that the war machine was part of this action sequence.

With all this in mind, it is clear that Roadie has stepped up to become the most formidable defender of the Earth. They may have considered space missions even earlier than now, explaining why they seemed closer to Captain Marvel than any other member of the Avengers. What’s more, Roadie may be fully capable of becoming an important player in the future of the MCU. The post-credits scene from Spider-Man: Far From Home revealed that Nick Fury is working on some cosmic defence for Earth, and it’s reasonable to assume that the war machine would be part of it.
