The trend of the coronavirus continues to affect the most region of the planet, including the movie business too. Last week MGM and Universal pushed back the release of the new James Bond movie No Time To Die to November but one other big franchise will not be moved. That franchise is Fast 9 and its stars are Vin Diesel who recently opened up to USA Today on his thoughts of why the Fast and Furious 9 release date should not be moved.
Diesel said that he loves to show up for the audience and his fans too because God knows how much the fans have shown up for him. The actor also says he is crazy about it and is begging the production house like Sony to let him go to China, even now.
His movie Bloodshot is based on the best selling comic book of the same name. Diesel wants to move his movie to China as well and he wants to do it because of his fans.
Bloodshot stars Diesel as ray Garrison, a soldier who recently got killed in an action and has been brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation.
Now, talking about the Fast and Furious movie, in particular, the series has a huge audience in China. The last movie in the series took a massive 392 million dollars in the territory, a huge chunk of its total 1.2 billion dollars worldwide haul.
The fast and furious 9 is still set for 22nd May 2020. If there is any kind of update we will be happy to let you know as soon as possible.
For the time let us hope that the movie does not get postponed because the fans are eagerly waiting for the movie. let us wish the best for the entire team.
