Here is the official synopsis for Vin Diesel’s Fast and Furious 9:

Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a life off the grid with Letty and his son Bryan, but they understand that danger always lurks over their horizon that is tranquil. This moment, that threat will force if he is going to rescue those he loves 25, Dom to confront the sins of the past. His crew joins together to prevent a world-shattering plot headed by the most skilled assassin and high-profile motorist they have ever encountered: a man who happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, next year’s The Suicide Squad).

F9 sees the return of Justin Lin as it transformed into a blockbuster, as director, who helmed the fourth, third, fifth and sixth chapters of the series. The action hurtles from London to Tokyo — around the globe, from Central America to Edinburgh, and from a bunker in Azerbaijan to Tbilisi’s teeming streets. Old friends will be resurrected, old foes will reunite, history will be rewritten, and the true meaning of family is going to be tested like never before.

Directed Justin Lin out of a script written by Daniel Casey, Fast and Furious 9 stars Vin Diesel, John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris”Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Cardi B, and Sung Kang, with Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron.

Fast and Furious 9 will be released in theatres on May 22, 2020.
