The Umbrella Academy Season 2 was one of the top shows on Netflix in 2019. Fans loved it and the crits appreciated the work. However, contrary to the firs means fans have a criticism of the story developed.
When Leonard Peabody didn’t emerge as a fully-fledged supervillain in season 1 won’t have the same criticism with season 2’s Carmichael. Peabody was pure evil, he manipulated his fellow friend Vanya and made her life miserable due to her abilities. After separating Vanya from her family, Peabody is responsible for turning Number 7 into the apocalyptic White Violin and is killed for his troubles.

A better villain in this show was the conductor. The conductor wants to seek help from Vanya so that he joins his orchestra. However, we all know what he is up to. The villain conductor in the comic is a bit different from that of the show. however, in terms of appearance, the designers have done an excellent job making the designs of the character.
The live-action Umbrella Academy TV series strips all elements of fantasy away and turns Peabody into a regular guy, albeit an extremely creepy one. While it’s easy to see why this creative decision was more fitting for television, some fans were left disappointed that the full effect of The Conductor never materialized.
What Did The Fans Didn’t Like?
In the trailer of Season 2, it was revealed that the fans didn’t like the way the story was shifted to Peabody becoming a good person. Every one of the fans wanted Peabody to go to his worst mode and be the best villain. However, in the trailer, we saw that the bad guy in season 2 will be the conductor.
