What’s the Plot of Top Boy? – This Isn’t Eastenders…
The place from the East London housing estates, the very first season explores the tension that exists between those attempting to live honest lives and those aiming to get by any means necessary. Within this series, DuShane, a 20-something-year-old drug trader, strives to become the”Top Boy” at the region, but he is thwarted by his rival Sully. In the prior series, DuShane and Sully eventually bury the hatchet since it moves to Jamaica for greener pastures. It’s here that season starts, with DuShane planning to leave his London past behind and live an upstanding life. Matters, as can be anticipated, do not proceed according to plan.
Back in London, a new, Jaime drug dealer, takes over the place of DuShane. When DuShane returns to London after things go sour at Jamaica, he’s forced to team up to avoid being eaten alive since they want to drag down Jaime from his throne.
