It is obvious that we will be seeing the original cast of the witcher again. At the start, Henry Cavill would be back in the show because the show won’t be the same without Geralt, right? We can truly expect him to be back and reprise his legendary role.

Along with him, Cirilla AKA Ciri (Freya Allan), Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra), Jaskier (Joey Batey), Istredd (Royce Pierreson), Triss Merigold (Anna Shaffer), Vesemir (Kim Bodnia) will be back.

Also, there is a possibility for the series to introduce some additional characters. While the last season has a lot of things to look for,  Mimi Ndiweni (Fringilla), Media Simson (Francesa), Mahesh Jadu (Vilgefortz), and MyAnna Buring (Tissaia) will be back. The Witcher Season 3 Plot: What will be the Storyline?

The Witcher Season 3

The thyroid season will probably start from where things ended. As far as we know, the show is probably going to pick up the same path and follow Ciri’s future and his destiny.

With Ciri having Geralt and Yennefer by her side, it won’t be a big problem for her to get out of her own kingdom. At the ending, we have seen how things have gone completely chaotic and these characters have started to manipulate each other in order to get the throne.

The officials have reported that the upcoming season will be something inexplicable and great. Praising their writers and teasing the fans,  Lauren S Hissrich remarks that their writers have already started working on the plot.

She said, “The writers’ room this season is incredible. I mean, we’ve always had incredible writers on the show. But I feel that this season specifically had… We had some new people come in, and it was really interesting how it changed the dynamic of the room, to have this sort of new blood: people who have watched the first season, who then had screened the second season, and came in with fresh, new ideas, who sort of challenged me on things that I hadn’t really thought about before.

“What is interesting, though, is that we finished the scripts, and only then do we start talking to the actors and the directors, and getting into the production constraints of actually turning these eight episodes into a full-length journey,” Lauren continued.

“It’s important to me that the actors, for instance, that they feel passionate about their journeys as well; that they understand their characters’ journeys. So those are conversations that will all start soon.”
