Here’s all you need to know about Selena Gomez’s new album Rare.
Selena Gomez released her new album and fans have been listening to it on loop. Rare is the third solo studio album released on 10th January 2020 through Interscope Records.
“Lose you to love me” was the first song from this album that released as the lead single on October 23rd, 2019 and it was a massive hit, it topped the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Gomez’s first number-one single in the US.
“Look at her now ” was released as the second single the following day, charting within the top twenty of the Rolling Stone Top 100 and peaking at number twenty-seven on the Billboard Hot 100.
This has been one of the most popular solo albums by Gomez. She stated the album is her dairy from that past few years.
However, there has been some controversy surrounding Gomez’s new album. Needless to say, last year was a rather tough one for Selena, following the break up with her on and off love, Justin Bieber, his marriage with Hailey and her battle with Lupus, leasing to a kidney transplant.
But this diva managed and handled everything gracefully and made us all proud. None the less ever since Selena released her new album, Rare, she has been part of different controversies.
Some people have accused her of forcings fans to promote and stream her album while she hasn’t shown much enthusiasm about it. While some fans have shown disapproval others have mostly supported her.
Rare is doing well and Gomez mentioned that real reason why she had been asking her fans to support her new album, the 27-year-old stated, ” So I just found out that my album is neck to neck with another incredible artist.
I told people before that, you know, it’s not about numbers for me, but I would love for that most album I’ve released to become number one, so if you don’t mind streaming it or listening to it on all platforms, it would mean that absolute world to me “.
Selena has been incredibly open about her life and her music and fans have been super supported about it. Honestly speaking we think she does deserve all the love and support.
