Season 3 of THE ROOKIE has been confirmed by ABC – here’s what you need to know about the new series including the release date, cast, trailer and more. ABC’s biggest ratings hit finished airing their series early which includes Grey’s Anatomy because of the early shutdown. The other shows which would be aired for their second season are Black-ish, A Million Little Things, The Goldbergs and Stumptown.
Karey Burke who is the executive of ABC said: “Our top priority is to work with our studio partners to ensure a safe return to production so that a strong momentum could be built of a winning lineup with measured bets on new series that will invigorate our air and continue to deliver the quality programming.” ABC will be unveiling its 2019-2020 schedule next month according to the publication.
Release Date of The Rookie season 3
It’s too early to say at this stage when the show will be premiering due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and global lockdown. Season three would have been expected to debut in the autumn of 2020 previously as part of ABC’s fall schedule. season three is expected to consist of 20 episodes like the previous two seasons.
The series will be airing on a weekly basis. The Rookie airs on Sky Witness in the UK and the third season will air only after the transmission has already begun in the States.

The title character will be played by Nathan Fillion who is the oldest newbie cop to join the LAPD. He is also the producer of the series. Alyssa Diaz will be joining him as a training officer by playing the role of Angela Lopez. The role of Jackson West will be played by Titus Makin Jr. who is a new recruit and he wants to prove himself.
