This show talks about a dystopia following a Second American Civil War wherein a totalitarian society subjects fertile women, called “Handmaids”, into child-bearing slavery. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4

The previous seasons of the show have been released once a year since 2017. If the fourth series follows the same pattern as previous seasons, viewers could see the show in 2020. However, one of the editors of the show, Wendy Hallam-Martin, revealed in Mayday: The Handmaid’s Tale Podcast that the series will not begin production until March. This could mean the series is delayed until later in 2020. To which many would not agree.
