WILL THE MORNING SHOW HAVE SEASON 2?

The Morning Show Season 2

Variety has reported in November 2019 that Apple TV + renewed “The Morning Show” for a season as did the “See”, “For All Mankind” and “Dickinson” series. Also, the director and executive producer of Mimi Leder told IndieWire that the filming of the second season will begin in February 2020.

It is expected that this delivery does not suffer the same inconveniences of the previous one. With Jay Carson as the showrunner, this show received the green light in November 2017 but the project was then abandoned.

“I knew what he was getting into. He was launching the Apple streaming service and two big stars and a new studio. So, of course, you’re going to think hard,” he argued. Ehrin also told that the Pilot was written in just three weeks, “It was scary. Sometimes I was on the floor crying, but for the most part, I kept going.”

Although, no details of the second season of “The Morning Show” has not yet been revealed. Additionally, Ehrin told Variety: “My idea is that if you deal with politics, you deal with political issues. I call it ‘current adjacent’, where historically you are not getting older when dealing with something specific, but you can take the spirit of what is happening in the world and do something with those issues.”
