The Lovebirds, which is the new comedy from the Insecure’s Issa Rae and also The Eternals’ Kumail Nanjiani, will now officially nest on Netflix this May.
The upcoming film, about a couple, dragged into a murder plot, was once previously set to premiere in the big-screen on April 3 this year through the Paramount Pictures. But due to the corona-virus pandemic promoted the studio to move the title to the online streaming platform Netflix in the lieu of the theatrical bow.
Now, The Lovebirds will be premiering on the online streaming platform on May 22.
The online streaming platform has released a trailer to mark the announcement. It hijinks start when Jibran and Leilani are seen accosted in their car by a guy who claims to be a cop commandeering their vehicle to chase down a perp.
But now it does not appear that this guy is legit an officer of the law when he is seen running over his targets again and again and again. Now the couple is on the run for the dangerous murder.
Due to the spoilers, we all end up having to get some new clothes at the CVS-type store. The character Ninjani previously revealed to some of the sources that since they were in dire straits, they do not put much thought into what clothes they should be buying.
Other changes to the Paramount’s film slate, as the Hollywood, collectively tries to even bounce back from the stay-at-home quarantine orders across the whole country, which also include Top Gun: Maverick has now moved their release date to December.
Some more high rated movies have delayed their release dates due to the corona-virus pandemic.
Many production houses have even canceled their program due to the health crisis of their crew members for the show. but, we are hoping that everything will be fine by the end of this year itself.
