Also on the show’s official Twitter page, a renewal of Last Kingdom was announced in the month of Christmas 2018.

 And in April 2019, Netflix confirmed that filming of season 4 had begun in 10 new episodes. 

Therefore, after looking at the history of the show we can expect that the next season 2020 will come on Netflix in November.

The story is set in the 9th century AD and is based on the novels by Bernard Cornwell’s The Saxon Stories, which follow the events of two books at a time in each season. 

So, in this series, the protagonist is a Uhtred son of Uhtred. And grew up by Uharte Dens. 

And we see how Uhtred betrays Dens because he knows that his adoptive father died. Uhtred forced Wessex to travel. It is not under Danish control.
