The second part of Venom 2 is coming for the fans of the character. There is a new villain on the horizon for the titular anti-hero Venom, and their name is Carnage. It is created by the writer David Michelinie and also with the artist Erik Larsen, Carnage first appeared in the Amazing Spider-Man in the year 1991.
Venom 2’s Cletus Kasady
Carnage is actually the moniker serial-killer and he is also a sociopath Cletus Kasady and also the symbiote take on when they are bond. Instead of ‘We are Venom’, audiences of the movie will be getting ‘We are Carnage’.
Killed His Own Grandma- The character Cletus Kasady had many abusers throughout his whole life. His family was in a terrible to him and then eventually, Cletus also had a breaking point.
As it was revealed in Carnage Volume-2, when we saw that Cletus Kasady was just a child, his Grandmother had sent him to the store to pick up some cigarettes. The Cletus returned with the wrong brand prompting his Grandmother to verbally berate him.
Then she continued to physically abuse him, even made Cletus call himself a very bad boy. Then he snapped her and shoved gown a flight of stairs.
Killed His Mother’s Dog- At the Ravencroft Institute during his having-session with the Doctor Camille, he remarks his mother loved her dog, Fifi, more than him. He continues to share that how the dog died ‘making a mess’ in the basement of their house.
His Dad Killed His Mom And He Watched It- Cletus had some issues with his mother. He then did try to kill her by throwing a hairdryer in the bathtub, maybe not so sure.
When Kasady is now being interviewed by the Doctor his recollection of the events creates continuity issues later on the Carnage volume 2.
This also suggests that whatever Kasady is sharing with the doctor in front of him may either be delusional or just a flat-out lie.
