The show Money Heist continued earlier this year and it prompted a return of the eccentric cast-before a very few of them were then killed off. Now, it has also been revealed that the show’s creator was then urged to cut one in the particular from the show.
The viewers of Money Heist were very much eager to see how the show’s new season would be continuing this year. After such a cliffhanger at the end of the third season, the Netflix viewers were not sure how the show would be progressing with such huge stakes. Although the character Rio and Tokyo were the very main focuses of the show in the third season, Berlin claimed some of the limelight this year.
Money Heist boss reveals ‘pressure’ to cut major character
While now all of it make sense for the show to include a good villain with such gravitas, then the show’s creators have now spoken out on the pressure they received to cut Berlin. Although the character Berlin is such a driving force for the evil in Money Heist, the show-runner Alex Pina has also claimed that he did not want to cut him from the story.
He also made these comments in the very recently released Netflix documentary Money Heist season 4: The Phenomenon, where he also spoke about the character behind the scenes.
Now speaking about Berlin candidly, ‘Someone said to me, this character does not fit with the times. You should take him out of the show.’
Then Alex went on to add he said that he had no intention of taking him out of the show. The fans went crazy and now they are loving that Berlin is there in the new season of the show. The show has been doing great since they have been released and we are hoping to see more of it in the coming future.
