The Blacklist’s mixture of twist-filled scripts, rapid direction, and brilliant performances has assured the show’s still going as strong today as it did when it first hit our screens.
NBC stays very proud of it. This is exactly what the system’s co-presidents of scripted drama Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta had to mention if it was renewed for season seven: “Congratulations to our astonishing producers, cast and crew, all of whom continue to operate at the very top of their game and make The Blacklist among NBC’s signature collection ”
And it’s good news, people. The Blacklist has formally been renewed for season eight.
“Congratulations to our unbelievable cast, crew, and producers, all of whom continue to reach excellence week in and week out,” said Katz and Pakosta.
“We couldn’t be more enthusiastic to keep Red and Liz’s story into the season ”
Chris Parnell, co-president at Sony Pictures Television, praised executive producers Jon Bokenkamp and John Eisendrath for continuing to tell”exciting and imaginative stories” and staying committed to”unparalleled creativity”.
