Only one part of The Batman Score has been freed by composer Michael Giacchino also now has a rock cover. Several days ago, Warner Bros. opened the initial look teaser trailer for The Batman, featuring Robert Pattinson.
In the trailer, Bruce Wayne stands in the red room with a red tint, as is Giacchino’s epic noir-sounding music, while the camera focuses on different parts of his suite. The camera stands to show the silhouette of their masks and ears, while the light illuminates half of their faces, where Pattinson’s features can be easily identified.
Pattinson’s suit is certainly more practical and ready for battle than previous iterations. The armor appears to be made of Garhwali metal plates with many different grooves and textures on the exterior. The emblem of the iconic bats on his chest is also metalized and even made from the gun used to kill Bruce Wayne’s parents. If that particular statement is confirmed to be true, The Batman may be a more psychological film, in which the protagonist is motivated by pain and emotion.
It would be a step away from Affleck’s version of the character and would be closer to Arthur’s characterization in The Joker. With a new actor and new suit, The Batman will also feature a new score by composer Michael Giacchino (The Incredibles, Star Trek, Spider-Man: Homecoming) and fans will get their first taste of it with Pattinson in Batmite.
Is there Music that has Authenticness?
The release of the trailer has created an influx of excitement that is a positive sign for DC, especially after the film’s staff changes and Ben Affleck’s separation from the project. Affleck was basically in involvement to communicate, direct and star in The Batman. After struggling to produce the screenplay, he was happy that he stepped in favor of Matt Reeves as writer and director. Affleck stated that he still intended to star in the film but then stepped down from the acting role, speculating about his replacement until Pattinson was officially declared successful.
Although the rock music revision for the trailer is a fun twist amid the excitement for the film, the original score is a far more accurate representation of Pattinson’s singers than Bruce Wayne. viewers should be optimistic about a DC film that could very well be the Joker of 2021.
