Terry Francona had both his World Series Rings jacked or stolen last month but the police say that they recovered the prized jewelry and they just arrested the alleged scumbag accused of the heist. Back on November 7th, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department says to the public that is responded to Francona’s Tucson, Arizona area home after the legendary MLB manager reported a theft. When the officers arrived, they said that the two World Series Rings Tito won when he was the Boston Red Sox manager back in the year 2004 and 2007 were stolen.
The police also said that they found out a two forty-five thousand dollars cheque intended for Francona had also been taken and fraudulently deposited by someone else earlier this current year. But the good news is that the officials say they recovered Tito’s jewelry at a sports memorabilia store just a few miles away from Pheonix saying that the suspect had sold them to the store after the burglary was there. And there is one better news, and that is that the cops said that they arrested the thief late Tuesday night.
The cops then discovered so many things from the thief, the thief had done many crimes before also and when he was asked why did he do this or why did he steal the rings? The answer to this thing was nothing, the thief did not give an answer. The suspect is a thirty-three-year-old Jamey Estep and he is been hit with felony charges of second-degree burglary, theft, and trafficking for his alleged role in the heist. At last and in the total is that the guy is facing years behind the bars is he is convicted of the crimes and we know that he will be behind the bars.
As for the sixty-year-old Francona, he issued a statement Tuesday saying that he is totally grateful to the effort that the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has put forth the culprit and he is so much happy about it.
