Sydney to the Max: Season Three; Early Renewal for Disney Channel Live-Action Comedy

Max from Sydney is not going away any time soon Disney Channel announced that they had renewed the TV show for the third season.

Middle school student Sydney Reynolds (Ruth Riggy), who lives with her single father, Max (Ian Reid Kessler), and Max runs the family sitcom centre at home with his mother’s firecracker. The cast includes Caroline Rhea, Jackson Dollinger, Ava Caller, and Christian Jay. Simon is also involved.

Season two of Sydney to the Max is shown on Disney Channel for the first time in 2020. You can read more about the season three renewal below:

Disney Channel has ordered the third season of its popular live-action comedy “Sydney to the Max” ahead of its season two premiere, scheduled for 2020. The current daughter, the father’s comedy set to the present day with flashbacks to the 1990s, follows. Middle schooler Sidney Reynolds who lives with his single father Max and his unconventional grandmother, Judy.

As Sydney navigates becoming a teenager with her bestie Olive, Max parallels his childhood flashbacks with his best friend Leo, showing that life’s “growing pains” never change. The series features Ruth Righey, Ian Reid Kessler, Carolyn Rhea, Jackson Dollinger, Ava Caller, and Christian Jay. Simon included. Produced and executive produced by Mark Reisman (“Frazier,” “Wings,” “The Axis”), the show is currently in production on season two.
