Stranger Things Season 4 has got its release date which in early 2021, David Harbour revealed that Jim Hopper is still alive and that Hawkins is safe from Demogorgon.
But it’s not all good in Stranger Thing’s world.
Stranger Things Season 4 will release in early 2021 due to Coronavirus pandemic
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the shooting is going to be postponed.
Earlier, due to David Harbour’s ill-health, the shooting was delayed. Harbour revealed the new season “was supposed to come out early next year”, continuing that the release date would “probably be pushed back” in the wake of the virus in an Instagram Q & A session. Although by how much is still uncertain.
Harbour’s other big project, Marvel’s Black Widow, has been delayed as well. The actor was set to star in The Avengers prequel, which traces back the journey of Black Widow played by Scarlett Johansson.
Rest assured Jim Hopper is still alive. Even though, in season 3 finale, he is apparently killed, when Joyce destroys the key to the upside-down.
But he appeared in the teaser for the next season.
Alongside the video, Netflix unveiled: “He is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other. In the meantime, back in the States, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything…”.
The season 4 teaser seems darker and gloomier as compared to other seasons.
It seems that the main battle is about to begin and the stakes are too high.
In other words, something big is descending towards America and the delay is only acting as a catalyst to heighten the suspense.
