It looks like we’ve got a ways to go until we travel back to the Upside Down, buddies. Unfortunately for lovers of Stranger Things, we are headed into the two-year mark since we have a new season, and there are no confirmation we’ll be getting the following installment anytime soon. As the list of releases around Netflix for May 2021 was shared today, we can definitively tell you that Stranger Things season 4 won’t be coming next month.
We were all spoiled on Valentine’s Day of 2020 when the first official teaser for Stranger Things season 4 was released. We all had reason to think we were only months from the show’s return, but then, of course, COVID-19 safety concerns shut down production and postponed everything. By the autumn of 2020, filming had started again, but as we previously mentioned, celebrity Gaten Matarazzo revealed that it’s been taking longer than normal.
Stranger Things Season 4 Release Date
So when will Stranger Matters return for the highly anticipated next season? We don’t have a definite answer for you. Considering filming started back up again in late 2020, we originally predicted to head back to Hawkins, Indiana at some stage in 2021. But now, we have lost almost all expect that the series will return this season.
In accordance with star Finn Wolfhard, Stranger Things season 4 probably will not debut until 2022. While titles like Money Heist season 5 and You season 3 were included, Stranger Things season 4 wasn’t.
It’s been confirmed that Stranger Things season 4 will not come out in 2021, which is so upsetting. Season 3 ended with this emotional note with Hopper considered to be lifeless and Eleven moving away from Mike using all the Byers, and fans are desperate to find out what happens next. Of course, we know that Hopper is alive (thank goodness!), so there are no doubt 4 will be one for the books.
