Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an American animated superhero film that was released on 14 December 2018. It is mainly featuring as Miles Morales / Spider-Man. It was produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation.
Mainly the film is about when after getting a spider bite, Miles Morales protects the city as Spider-Man. Then, he meets another version of himself and involved in an epic battle to save the multiverse.

The film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces a teen called Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which was released on 14 December 2018 was finished with the cutting out planned cameos from many big Hollywood names. When sony entertainment revealed that they were going to make an animated Spider-man movie there were a lot of doubts around the fans because Spider-man released seven movies since 2002 and all were superhit and this movie seemed like the property was stretching a bit thin.
Most probably the most heartbreaking cameo scene cut from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was off when all three live-action Spider men would have appeared together on the screen with Tom Holland’s MCU Spidey, Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man.

But still, when it was released there was no negative response heard around the fans. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse got a rating of 8.4/10 on IMDB.
Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse: Sequel Release date
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 is going to release on 7th October 2022 as announced by Marvel. It would be very interesting to see will the missing cameo of all three live-action Spider-man would be seen or not.
