“Soundtrack” is a Netflix musical play which follows a group of interconnected people in Los Angeles as they struggle with various sorts of love: romantic, family members, platonic. Through music, this series addresses topics like love, loss, and change in 10 episodes.
The fiction was created by Josh Safran, famous for being one of the associate producers of”Gossip Girl”, writing 18 episodes as well as the executive producer of ABC’s”Quantico” and the movie”Smash.” Additionally, Safran created it using Megan Ellison, Sue Naegle, and Ali Krug and celebrity Callie Hernandez, Jahmil French, Jenna Dewan, Campbell Scott, Madeleine Stowe, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Megan Ferguson, Evan Whitten, and Paul James.
Starring Jenna Dewan (“Measure Up”), Megan Fergusson (“Easy”) and Jahmil French (“Degrassi: The Next Generation”),” Soundtrack” was filmed in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Some parts outside and others in the Cinespace Chicago Film Studios.
The 10 episodes of the first season of this musical drama premiered on Netflix just on December 18, 2019, but platform users are already requesting another installment.
So far the streaming service hasn’t made any statement but in the previous episode, the background of this group of individuals could continue in a second season.
For his part, creator Joshua Safran told Playbill that”he has hopes” his project is the type of series the world needs to complete a challenging year. “I released SoundtrackOnce I felt that the air shows were very dark and Everything raised your stress level.”
