The movie received a Rotten Tomatoes score of 87%, as the site has declared the film, starring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, is Certified fresh.
The movie Birds Of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn is officially “Certified Fresh” on the Rotten Tomatoes with a respectable of 87% score. After the movie’s debut, the movie briefly held the highest Rotten Tomatoes score in the whole history of the DCEU at 92%, but it had only forty-nine reviews at that time.
Now, with one hundred and twenty-four critic reviews on record, the score takes the slight dip but it is still performing better than some of the earlier DCEU releases, some of them like Man Of Steel, Batman vs Superman, and Justice League. That is some excellent news for the director Cathy Yan, and also the stars Margot Robbie, and who were there with her.
Justice League, in particular, was a massive or huge failure at both the box office and also in the eyes of the critics. Warner Bros completely overhauled their whole strategy in their wake to focus less on building a shared universe and more on developing some standalone films. Since then movies like the Joker and the comedy movie Shazam have earned the praise from the fans and were also Oscar Nominated.
This movie Birds of Prey was officially declared Certified Fresh by the site Rotten Tomatoes on Twitter the night before the theatrical release. The score that the movie made makes them the third-highest scoring DCEU film behind Shazam and also Wonder Woman which have 90% and 93% respectively.
The movie gave a very positive review and it signaled another massive hit for the Warner Bros., who then just celebrated the movie Joker becoming the most profitable comic book movie of all time.
