Shazam is a 2019 American superhero film which is based on the DC Comics character Captain Marvel by Bill Parker and C. C. Beck. This film is directed by David F. Sandberg and produced by Peter Safran.

The famous distributor Warner Bros. Picture is the distributor of this film. The country of origin is the United States and English is the original language. 


The budget of this film is $80-100 million and it hits the box office with $366 million. The first part of this film is released in Real 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, IMAX, Screen X, and IMAX 3D formats.

Shazam 2 Release Date

Shazam 1 was released on March 15, 2019, in Toronto and April 5, 2019, in the United States. The first part of this film runs up to 132 minutes. This film was a box office success. 

The second part of this series was already delayed by Warner Bros. Pictures and they report that it will not happen again. 

Second part production will begin in the spring of 2021 and it takes much time to shot the whole film and it has been planned to release on 4th November 2022.

The Plot

This is like a superhero movie and we all think that we have some superhero inside. In this 14-year-old Billy Batson’s case, he needs to shout out one word to transform into an adult superhero named Shazam.

This is a little funny but very interesting to watch this film. Billy and his friend Freddy Freeman had the eager find Billy’s new power to stop the evil activities of Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.

This is a kids loving movie like Marvel so we should wait for further updates about the sequel. Due to this coronavirus pandemic, many films and series are shifting the release date.
